Tennis instruction in the US runs from a certified teaching pro giving private lessons on a park court to full academies with fitness staff, boarding and tournament travel. Private lessons are priced per hour, semi-private and group clinics cost less per player, and most clubs run junior programs after school and adult drills in the evening. The USTA organizes the national rating (NTRP) and the adult and junior leagues most players join; the USPTA and PTR certify coaches. Summer camps take kids by the week or the day and usually include lunch and match play. Stadiums and event venues host college matches, USTA sanctioned tournaments and the occasional exhibition, with free or low-cost admission for most of them.

Forest Hills is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Forest Hills follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

One of the greatest venues in NYC for seeing a concert. Small... Intimate..and a beautiful Queens skyline and backdrop. The absolute only downside is that if you are not sitting on the floor, and those are usually pricey seats... The rest of the venue has metal benches. So there are more comfortable venues. Good selection of food... And a really nice staff to boot. I love seeing concerts here.

I attended the Dave Matthews Band concert on June 10, 2026, and had an amazing experience at Forest Hills Stadium. The venue has a unique outdoor atmosphere that feels much more intimate than a large arena, and the sound quality was excellent. The crowd was energetic, the staff was organized, and getting through security was relatively smooth. Dave Matthews Band put on a fantastic show, and the setting made the concert even more memorable. If you're a music lover, this is definitely one of the best venues in New York to see a live performance. I'll definitely be back for another concert!

Yikes. Where to begin? My husband and I purchased VIP tickets to a Bright Eyes show at Forest Hills and had a disappointing time. We had "Golden Apple" passes, which included free merch (which we received), free drinks (which we did not receive), and access to a private lounge with bar, bathrooms, etc. (which we were not given access to). Instead, we were made to stand around in the hot sun while the clearly uninformed staff wondered at where to put us. My husband finally tracked down someone who knew what was going on and managed to get drink tickets for us (after we'd already broken down and purchased two drinks at $27 each -- talk about overpriced omg) and stickers that let us into the private lounge. By then, of course, the concert was underway, so we missed spending any time in the lounge we'd paid (a lot) to access. I should of course mention the storm. The morning of the concert, meteorologists predicted bad weather approaching in the evening. We worried over this, expecting the outdoor venue would cancel because of the obvious threat of lightning. However, Forest Hills sent out an email that afternoon alerting us that the concert would proceed rain or shine and that umbrel

Great venue to see a show, it was my first time and initially I was concerned about parking. We found street parking a few blocks down and the walk back was on well lit streets. Inside was very nice and clean. THE most important thing was the show sounded amazing. I will take the two hour ride back to see another show. Great venue for a concert.

I had never been to Forest Hill Stadium before and I had such a great time. Obviously it sucks that the Bright Eyes concert got canceled, but the first set was fantastic and I hate going to big stadium shows. I basically never do it and I sort of assumed that this would be less intimate feeling, but I actually felt like the space felt very casual and comfortable in a way that I really wasn’t expecting.
